The other franchisees in my territory were incredible and motivated me to do better in my business. They were always willing to lend a helping hand and give advice to make my summer a bigger and more profitable one.
The experience is priceless because this kind of knowledge cannot be found in a classroom. Student Works challenged me in many ways and in turn taught me a lot about myself.
Let me be the first one to tell you, that this is not for everyone. Just like being a doctor is not for everyone neither is being a business owner. You will make mistakes and you will learn how to fix them.
Student Works Painting is honestly a once in a life time opportunity, but you must make the most of it. I was always taught that the best things in life generally come from the most work, and Student Works is a prime example
Tyler, North Delta
Experience is the greatest education an individual can receive, and I learned more this summer than I ever could of going to school. I have grown more confident in my abilities to run a business and be an entrepreneur.
This summer has allowed me to learn so many new things about myself and to gain confidence in my own abilities. I have learnt so many new lifelong lessons and have learned how to effectively manage time, manage people and how to paint.
Tamara, Bonnyville, Cold Lake
I created excuses for myself as to why I wouldn’t be able to do it. Fortunately, I pushed on and taught myself the greatest skill I have gained through Student Works: You are only as limited as you tell convince yourself to be.
Sabrina , Victoria
Anyone can paint but not everyone can be a painter, so when hiring I learned to look for people with a good work ethic and interest in doing well rather then people who have painted before.
Presented with opportunity of a lifetime. And if you are anything like I was, you are probably apprehensive about seizing it. It’s new and scary and a huge responsibility that you may not feel ready for.
Lauren, Sherwood Park
